Add a touch of the desert to your garden or indoor plant collection with this healthy Prickly Pear Cactus pad cuttingready for rooting! Youll receive 1 freshly cut pad. This cutting has sharp thorns, so please handle with gloves or tongs.

Rooting Instructions:

Let it callous: Allow the cut end to dry and callous over for 57 days in a shaded, dry area. This helps prevent rot when planted.

Planting: Once calloused, plant the pad upright in well-draining cactus or succulent soil, burying about 1 inch of the bottom.

Watering: Wait a few days after planting before watering. Water sparingly until roots form (usually 24 weeks), then treat favor a mature cactus.

Light: Provide bright, indirect sunlight during rooting. Once rooted, it thrives in full sun.

Can tolerate occasional frost once established. In colder zones, keep it potted and move indoors during winter.
