2 books from Jacqueline Winspear's Maisie Dodd's series in trade paperback size. One is from 1915 titled The Mapping of Love & Death and is in good readable condition but the edge of the cover is frayed. The second one is later in the series in 1942 titled A Sunlit Weapon and is in incredibly good condition. Please see photos of back cover to see what each story is about. Maisie Dobbs is a widow and former nurse who now works as a private investigator. Each book is an simple and cozy read. By the first couple of chapters you are invested in each character, many reoccurring in each book. I think there's about 16 books in the series right now and they take place in England. The first book in this series is called Maisie Dobbs and starts when she is a very young girl and she does age in the books. I love this series as it takes you back to a gentler time.
