LOW TOP BASKETBALL SHOES FOR MEN - As one of the earliest Avia basketball shoes, the 855 was worn by various of the top pro basketball players in the early 1980s. We just re-released it, stitch for stitch!
LIGHTWEIGHT, HIGH-PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY - The full grain leather upper, double stitched overlays, and TPU heel counter provide optimal support while the perforations in key areas allow air flow to keep feet cool.
NOTCHED PADDED COLLAR - The extremely unmistakable visual element of the 855, the cool and special collar provides maximum ankle support and supreme comfort.
SUPERIOR TRACTION & STABILITY - The premium rubber outsole with a 360° cup wall delivers maximum support for lateral movement distinctive to basketball and other court sports, while the deep herringbone forefoot tread provides extra traction. The Cantilever sole flares on contact to provide shock absorption and helps control ankle roll-over to prevent injury.
ON-COURT COMFORT - A full-length internal EVA midsole and removable sock liner add long-lasting comfort, and the forefront flex grooves, and concave pivot point provide cushioning and flexibility.
