Yves Saint Laurent Necklace Vintage Rare Braided Charm YSL
I purchased this Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) necklace a long time ago from a vintage clothing store that sourced items from Europe.The necklace has a vintage and bohemian feel, and this braided cord design is really impactful, characteristic of Yves Saint Laurent.The inscription GAUCHE JAVE on the charm likely refers to **RIVE GAUCHE** (Left Bank). Rive Gauche is a famous YSL line that symbolizes the free and sophisticated atmosphere of the Left Bank of Paris (Rive Gauche).I don't know the specific collection or release date of this necklace, but I believe it was released at least 20 years ago.I purchased it as deadstock and have used it since. There is some fraying of the braid, but it is still usable.However, you can also wear just the charm by threading it onto a ball chain or something similar for a simpler look.I seem to remember purchasing the necklace for around 50,000 to 60,000 yen at the time.Please check the photos for the size.Please only purchase if you understand vintage and used clothing.
