The inside is hand painted canvas, then sewn together for durability, then sealed.the front picture was purchased. This journal has 2 inserts with a total of 104pgs front and back. 2 pockets 2 tags, several different types of papers including Japanese calligraphy paper. Plus, some extras :)) When you are done with the inserts that I made, you can replace them with ones from the dollar store. Smoke-free packaged with care and ships same day or next business day.
